JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
？ Medical Information (0.8 FTE)
o Provide on-time responses to unsolicited medical queries from external customers located
in China mainland/Hong Kong/Taiwan.
o Clarify inquiries to specify the question with requestors.
o Ensure full compliance on global and affiliate MI procedure.
o Support medical team with scientific information, medical advice and updated knowledge
of relevant products.
o Work with PV and QA team on identifying adverse events or quality complaints.
o Maintain and manage local content and local label modules in GMIS.
o Prepare monthly metrics and insight analysis reports to key stakeholders.
？ Publication (0.2 FTE)
o Manage workflow for Affiliate publications in accordance with affiliate publications
business processes. Ensure all activities in support of affiliate publications adhere to
established timelines and AbbVie policies and procedures.
o Work as a liaison on affiliate publication business procedure, by establishing and
maintaining productive and collaborative working relationships with affiliate staff and
headquarters’ stakeholders involved with publications, regarding publication requirements
and timeframes for completion of activities.
o Monitor any compliance issues of affiliate publications from global metrics in a timely
manner, and work with affiliate Publication Leads on CAPA.
o Create local Standard Operating Procedure for publication process.
o Generate ad hoc and scheduled reports and metrics on affiliate publication activities as
assigned.
o Provide support for training on activities associated with the affiliate publications business
process.

BACKGROUND:
？ Previous experience of working within the pharmaceutical industry and, in particular, medical
information is preferred, but not mandatory
？ Experience in scientific or medical writing.
？ Experience of submission of manuscript to medical journal and making a presentation as a co-author.
？ Business English, fluent English speaker preferably.
EDUCATION:
？ Minimum: Medical, pharmacy or life-sciences degree (or equivalent)
