Key Responsibilities

1. Support new project development by delivering competitive tooling cost and on time delivery.

2. Develop and deliver tooling and supplier strategy based on supplier performance and business direction.

3. Support cost reduction activities, improve payment terms and lead time reduction.

4. Develop new suppliers to meet business needs and improve cost and delivery time.

5. Work closely with Tooling Engineering and New Project team.

6. Develop a proficient and professional Tooling Sourcing team.

Person Specifications

1. BS Engineering degree or Tooling high diploma is preferred.

2. At least 5 years sourcing experience in plastic injection tooling.

3. Excellent negotiation skills.

4. Adequate technical knowledge on plastic tooling and injection.

5. Strong analytical, numerical and reasoning abilities.

6. Good presentation skills – verbal and written.

7. Good level written and spoken English

8. Good communication, listening and interpersonal skills

9. Honest, highly ethical and with integrity.

10. A self-starter with a ‘hands-on’ approach. Eager to drive key initiatives and see them through to successful implementation.

11. Work in power tool industry is an advantage

12. Good management skills and can multi-task.
