With subsidiary offices around the world, and an established distribution / partner network, they are now looking to expand the Shanghai office by hiring a Channel Marketing Manager, China.



The Channel Marketing Manager, China works within the management team to oversee partner engagement, relationships, motivation and management, and performance. While the primary geography is mainland China, you will work closely with leaders throughout the organization and around the world. Your role will be a critical position as the company continues to expand. This opportunity provides the right candidate with chance to be the public face of a game-changing company, with a revolutionary technology.



The planning and tracking responsibilities of the Channel Marketing Manager, China include:

· Preparing quarterly and annual Channel Marketing Plans

· Working with the China Channel Sales Team, China GM and the AP/J Channel Marketing Director to manage the Marketing Development Funds (quarterly and annually)

· Allocating funds, supervising and ensuring healthy ROI of sponsored reseller marketing activities, events and promotions

· Work with in-country sales teams to establish vertical performance metrics and sales tracking mechanisms

· Monthly tracking and reporting of competitors' products' performance within individual channels



The program and communications responsibilities of the Channel Marketing Manager, China, include:

·Recommending sell-through programs to the China Channel Sales Team

·Executing and fulfilling all agreed upon sell-through programs

·Creating unique promotional programs designed to support distributors, VARs and other reseller clients

·Managing reseller training and certification programs

·Managing reseller NFR programs

·Working with mainland China sales and marketing teams to produce and share partner sales-promotion materials

·Ensuring that communication lines between the company and our partners are always open

·Initiate programs that educate partners, including reseller industry events, training, product development pipelines...



To excel in the role, you should:

· Have at least six years' Channel Marketing experience in mainland China

· Be very knowledgeable on channel performance measurement techniques and methodologies

· Bring exceptional written, presentation and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese

· Have a demonstrable capacity to keep abreast of, and communicate, new technology trends and possible application to real world projects

· Be highly competent with Microsoft Office

· Posses high competency in planning and organization

· Multiple concurrent projects

· Have strong negotiation, analytical, business relationship, people management and strategic development skills

· Understand areas and applications of market data analysis, profitability analysis, and market research analysis and interpretation

· Be self-motivated with a strong work ethic and sense of ownership over tasks
