职位描述
Job Summary
· Manage the Customer Support / Field Engineering team within the China Region.
· Set goals and objectives, monitor results, and provide corrective actions if and when required.
· Responsible for the project and technical coordination with the China Region head office and company headquarters.
· Drive customer satisfaction, customer support strategy & philosophy in the region.
Responsibilities
· Define and develop a best-in-class Customer Service strategy for the China market.
· Manage the China Customer Support / FE Team toward efficient and effective operations and provide technical support to Chinese airline customers and to satisfy the customers' needs and requirements.
· Install and ensure a strong sense of customer satisfaction and ownership by the FE team.
· Foster and maintain a close working relationship between the regional offices to ensure effective and efficient resolution to field issues.
· Ensure successful product introduction and operation on customer fleets and ground facilities
· Develop and maintain good working relationship with the working and management levels of the customers.
· Support Head office product and engineering initiatives from the field.
· Provide frequent feedback on product performance and suggestions on enhancements, on customer sentiments in relation to product performance and operation as well as ensuring relevance and appropriateness of Panasonic Avionics initiatives.
· Co-ordinate with and support all China marketing/sales initiatives and activities as needed
· In charge of Customer Support training/upgrading and FE traineeship program
Requirements
· Diploma or Degree in the following disciplines: in avionics, multiplexed audio/video, networks, software controlled systems and test equipment
· 10-12 years working experience in the airline environment and/or IFE industry and/or IT industry
· 5 years of field engineering/field operations management.
· Good understanding of the role of a vendor's field support team and operations.
· Possess knowledge of Chinese airline operations, aviation technical requirements and regulations
· Strong communication and written skills in English and Chinese
· Pro-active individual who is independent and is capable of resolving technical and engineering issues with ease.
· Experience in Customer Support or Field representative areas is preferred.
Ability to travel, up to 50% to both domestic and international locations.
