POSITION SUMMARY

This position reports directly to the General Manager, China Package Gases
1. Be responsible for developing and implementing SG business strategies across China to achieve agreed profit, productivity and sales volume targets. To create alignment in SG sales strategies among ***' regional companies in China. The SG sales teams shall report to the incumbent.
2. The incumbent, through the assistance of regional sales managers, is responsible for increasing sales and expanding awareness of the ***' SG offering. The incumbent will also be responsible for developing our sales and distribution network across China through the appointment and appropriate channel partners
3. To enhance *** market leadership in SG, he or she will work with Asia and Worldwide SG teams to implement best business practices in China. He or she will be actively be involved in the pan China S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) and Continuous Improvement processes, working closely, as a key member of the Packaged Gases team with other MFOs and functional groups, such as Electronics, Operations and Supply Chain.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

1. Education
College degree or University education (in business or technical area preferred).
2. Working Experience
A. At least three (3) years of experience in multinational companies.
B. At least two (2) years experience as a senior sales /or sales Line Manager.
3. Skills
A. Sales, commercial, and negotiation skills
B. Strong communication skills, including written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin) and listening and presentation abilities.
4. Qualities
A. Aggressive business development passion.
B. Participative management style and team oriented.
C. Well developed interpersonal skills. Ability to get along well with diverse personalities. Tactful, mature, and flexible.
D. Leadership capabilities - positive supervisory experience, positive team environment experience, sets and maintains high standards.
E. Integrity - act with integrity and in accordance with company ethics. Ability to confront behaviour not consistent with company values. Honours commitments.
F. Problem solving and decision-making skills - decisions that reflect thorough evaluation of needs, goals, etc., demonstrated ability to make recommendations and decisions
G. Result focused - demonstrate ability to reach goals, accountability for results, demonstrated ability to manage through company network, assertive, clear notions of efficiency.
