Job Description

You will be working as a member of Cognizant AVM (Application Value Management) team which provides support and maintenance service to our leading finance customer. You will have opportunities to know not only the operation of big finance companies, but to learn latest application management technologies and solutions.

• Provide L2 support on MSBI DW issues
• Examine and debug based on tickets/requests, take necessary remedy actions.
• Write resolution and complete documentation on the issues be resolved
• Coordinate with L1 and L3 team on overall problem resolving
• Coordinate with customer IT team on system upgrade and new deployments
• Provide suggestion on system/process improvement; work with team on process improvement and applying automation strategies.

Job Requirements

• Have 2-5 years of experience in DW development or support and maintenance project.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with MSBI. Understand the underlining mechanism and logic of MSBI. Experience on SSIS, SSRS & SSAS.

SSIS

· Experience in importing/exporting data between different sources

· Transform data from one server to another by imposing business rules

· Deploy & configure the developed components at production environment

· Schedule jobs to execute packages from the SSIS Catalogs

· Keep the source code in a central repository such as TFS

SSRS

· Ability to create Generic reports, Complex Visuals & KPI Charts

· Knowledge of Row/Column grouping, sub-reports & parameterized queries

· Deploy & configure the various components on report server

SSAS

· Knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts (Fact & Dimension tables)

· Experience in Tabular/Multidimensional modelling

· Knowledge of Cubes & MDX queries

· Partitioning & deployment of Cubes on Analysis server

SQL Server

· Ability to build and understand complex queries

· Thorough knowledge of Stored Procedures & Views

· Implementation & Use of Indexes

· Performance optimization and troubleshooting

• Good communication and client facing skills is mandatory;
• Strong analytical ability
• Experience of using ITSM Tools – ServiceNow / Remedy as a plus
• ITIL v3 Framework knowledge is a plus;
• Fluent English read and write is a must; capable to communicate in English is a plus;
• Proven application troubleshooting skills;
• Quick learner on grasping new business functionalities
