Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Project manage the development of Side Airbag and Side Air Curtain systems for China and APA future programs
• Full compliance with GPDS
• Lead Project Team(s) responsible for component design and release
• Ability to work with a cross functional team
• Work with suppliers to design and develop Side Airbag and Side Air Curtain systems.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Automotive Engineering.

• Strong project management competencies including team and problem solving skills

• Highly developed interpersonal skills

• Display & build enthusiasm within a multidiscipline team environment.

• Demonstrated focus on driving for results

• Minimum of 3 years technical experience in Side Airbag and Side Air Curtain systems design/engineering.

• Previous design and release experience preferably in restraints systems

• Familiarity with automotive design processes / systems engineering approach

• Experience with Side Airbag and Side Air Curtain systems requirements/specifications, problem solving.

• Exposure to GPDS or system design engineering principles
