Job Description for Project Manager (项目经理)
Competencies:
？ 5+ years’ project management and/or online development experience preferred.
？ Understands the basic web site development tools (i.e. HTML, JPEGs, GIFs, Photoshop, etc.)
？ Familiarity with CMS tools (i.e. Drupal) a plus.
？ Working with International teams and off-shore development teams a plus.
？ Pro-active problem solving abilities.
？ Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
？ Highly flexible & adaptable and uses diplomacy when handling conflicts.
？ Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
？ Exceptional work ethic, ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines, and demonstrates enthusiasm towards colleagues and teams.
？ Ensured consistency of work, punctuality of deliverables and overall adherence to schedule.
？ Effectively communicates relevant project information to management.
Responsibilities:
？ Responsible to communicate with client in US and APAC region to clarify the requirement on brand and products.
？ Responsible for gathering the information of the brand product and publishing on client online brand site.
？ Responsible to management the delivery of core sites for the client.
Day to day tasks:
？ Review the bug list throughout the day –
o Make sure that bugs are correctly assigned
o Make sure that bugs are valid – that descriptions are complete, URLs are provided, conditions are valid etc
o Make sure that bugs are moving in a timely fashion
？ Assign bugs to appropriate engineer and monitor progress
？ Review bug priority and verify
？ Review engineer workload and balance
？ Make sure that bugs are unit tested prior to assigning back to bug requestor
？ Coordinate refresh bug effort with any enhancement assignments
？ Address any engineer concerns
？ Report back to the Development and Maintenance teams in NY
？ Monitor deliverable dates, inform parties of scheduling issues as they arise, mitigate and negotiate with teams to achieve best results based on business requirements.
