?Checks duties and all import/export related fees to be paid on merchandise;
?Prepares, examines and maintains export documents such as invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and other shipping statements;
?Controls registration process and customs invoice;
?Handles the customs clearance of import and export shipments. Contacts customs officers and import/export companies to resolve problems quickly so that the time for customs clearance can be shortened and expenses in import/export processes can be cut down;
?Maintains relationships with shipping forwarders, port cargo stations, etc.;
?Monitors each import shipment’s whole operating process and distributes the latest information on billboard;
?Registers each shipment’s detailed information, such as arriving date, levy out date, fees occurred, purchase orders covered, etc;
?Designs and modifies the import and export order procedure in order to speed the process, eliminates unnecessary processes;
?Provides information service to sales within the scope of import and export;
?Cooperates with finance department to determine the methods and systems of paying for exported and imported goods and provides them with necessary documents to enable the payments;
?Examines invoices and shipping manifests for conformity to tariff and customs regulations;
?Assists sales and import department in applying for import/export licences;
?Collects governmental information regarding changes in regulations and limitations for importing products;
