Description
Job Objective:
Proof of Concept for customers to promote Ericsson sales on IP & Broadband products and solutions
Responsibilities:
• Pre-sales customer proof of concept, including solution introduction, demo, customer testing, presentation, and other inter-activities
• Interface with different organizations, both Ericsson internal and external, to together promote Ericsson sales on IP & Broadband products and solutions
• Design and perform integration test, function test and performance test, debug nodes and system issues, verify compliance of interfaces and features in end to end system
• Work close with design organization to verify the solutions, analyze and report the bugs and fix problems.
• Product and solution scope include the Ericsson Optical products (SPO, OMS), Microwave series products (SP, TN, PT, and etc.), network management system, and etc.
Qualifications
• Strong communication (both Chinese and English) skills are required, and customer interaction and customer testing experience is a plus
• Solid knowledge on Layer 2 switching and other protocols (ERP, 1588, Ethernet OAM, SyncE, MSTP, CES etc.) is required
• Experience on Optical, Microwave, and IPT-NMS products integration and verification is a plus
• Familiar with the following test equipment is preferred: IXIA, Test Center, N2X
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Knowledge of basic UNIX operation is required
• Strong teamwork spirit
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecom, or equivalent as minimum
