职位描述
Job intent (from JPCR):
Manages all day-to-day activities by collaborating with Design and PDS team to ensure GTM milestones are met. Develops and plans new product from concept to final manufacturing-ready proto at the right quality, aesthetics, fit, GTM lead time and meets Brands financial target costs. Ensures design requests/changes are carried out correctly and pricing delivers the best value to the brands. Possess strong product skills. Aligns product cost to brand targets. Management of specific category of goods or customer on maintaining the critical path for development and product line critical path from concept to delivery.
Critical Results (from JPCR):
§ On time GTM calendar signoff with Design on all development activities (fabric, lab dips, sundries, finish, styling and construction) to enable on time delivery of protos.
§ Escalates and filters critical issues to Lead that can not be resolved. Come with recommendations.
§ On time delivery of protos and final proto/sealed samples with detailed status tracking daily (includes components and final garment)
§ Develop total garment according to brief and in line with Design aesthetic to meet cost requirements
§ Accurate costing to meet Brands targets (Design)
§ Manage capacity and raw material plan for protos (reservations)
§ Understands and adhere to compliance on standards on development to meet all product quality, safety, and TOE requirements
§ Source, develop and place total garments at suppliers selected from pre-defined network of sources defined by MO (includes mills and contractors)
§ Optimize use of materials, leverage components and drive efficiencies across brands and sub-brands.
§ Ensure consistent development documentations are created and completed with assigned styles, including BOMs and final proto specs
§ Establish and maintain key relationships with peers, internal customers and suppliers/contractor.

Garment/Fit technologist - a) To alert quality issues with protos or technical issues during pre-production preparation
Fabric and Finish Developer - a) to ensure they have most up to date info of Design's needs b) Help prioritize
Professional qualification
A diploma or degree in merchandising or textile-related discipline
Qualifications:
Qualified Candidates will have preferably 5-7 years of experience in apparel business-product development, sourcing, placement, and manufacturing. Must have strong knowledge of fabric, finish, garment construction (value engineer if needed), lead-times of mills and contractors, planning and managing deadlines. Essential skills include the ability to impact, influence and negotiate both internally and externally, strong analytical skills, multi-tasking and problem solving abilities. Must have strong and effective verbal and written communication skills.
