Work Location: Beijing preferred, Tianjin accepted
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Leads Sales and Service process monitoring and partners with Sales, Service and Marketing leadership to identify opportunities for commercial process improvements
2. Owns standard work, processes, and tools to support sales force sizing, design, and deployment
3. Provides guidance to the sales organization in setting objectives that appropriately reflect the business goals and in aligning incentive programs with strategic and business priorities
4. Owns and manages critical commercial tools such as MSCRM, datacube and PowerBI in line with the needs of the global commercial teams; prioritizes investments in enabling technologies in support of sales organization productivity
5. Owns sales and marketing commercial training and onboarding
6. Develops, monitors and optimizes Sales forecasting and budgeting process in close coordination and alignment with the General Manager and Sales and Service Managers; Provides ongoing measurement of forecasting accuracy; drives continuous process improvements
7. Ensures alignment of KPIs and targets across commercial and marketing functions; facilitates efficient data reporting and analysis
8. Provides sales result analysis, commercial insights to support critical business decisions and activities; continuously identifies improvement areas based on business insights; develops and executes new reporting tools as needed in coordination with Finance and other stakeholders
9. Provides market and competitive intelligence to evolve understanding of Phenomenex competitive market positioning and market dynamics
10. Leads master data quality improvement efforts and ensures sustainment of key data quality (customer record, install base, CRM data, etc.)
11. Works with commercial teams to define and execute go-to-market strategies for new products or market segments
12. Stays current on role-relevant industry best practices including internal and external benchmarking.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
1. Bachelor degree or above, major in analytical chemistry, Biology or other life science.
2. At least 5 years of separation science sales/ marketing experience with management experience preferred
3. Enthusiastic in sales, have the ability to analyze and solve problems independently.
4. Solid communication skills are required, and have teamwork spirit.
5. Ability to forecast, budget, and administrate execution
6. Highly developed human relations skills
7. Knowledge of organizational development theory and practice
8. Training course design and delivery
9. Knowledge of organizational development theory and practice
10. Knowledge of current management practices
11. Advanced analytical and negotiation skills
12. Proficient at English listening, speaking, reading and writing.
13. Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
