1. Act as VEVA change leader/coordinator of each project to support cost optimization by analysis/optimization of design, production, value stream etc

2. Take lead to drive identification, feasibility study of VEVA ideas such as localization, resourcing and improvement of low EBIT project after serial production and work as project buyer role for post-launched projects after project closure & operation approval

3. Lead change project team to set up change target, including quality, cost, timing planning and resource requirement

4. Support team to hold supplier on-site workshop with contribution of cross-functional team to investigate competitiveness, gather ideas for design/cost optimization and achieve success in the area of cost/quality/delivery

5. Work with other purchasing team like DM purchase/divisional purchase to review/define commodity strategy, figure out VEVA opportunities and drive execution

6. Monitor and highlight any abnormal conditions within change planning / critical path which would jeopardize quality or delivery.  Communicate / highlight change risk to management

7.Complete monthly VEVA saving report and identify the reasons of saving fluctuation

8. Other works assigned by line manager

Requirements:

1. Bachelor degree or above

2. 2-5 years related working experience

3. Fluent English skill

4. Purchasing basic knowledge especially for automotive industry

5. Product / process knowledge especially for safety system product
