1.1   Be able to develop purification and chiral separation methods for small molecules by using SFC and HPLC techniques.

1.2   Be familiar with Labconco Freeze Drying Systems, and GeneVac HT series solvent evaporators.

1.3   Be able to do simple instrument maintenance and troubleshooting. Be responsible for contacting with engineers to repair instruments. Be responsible for consumables and spare parts purchase of solvent removal instruments.

1.4   Accountable to ensure all activities in lab follow Roche lab safety policies.

2.1                  Provide Purification and separation service:

Develop preparative methods, and purify compounds for medicinal chemists and process chemists; communicate well with sponsors to ensure purity, recovery rate and delivery time of desired compounds.

2.2                  Instrument maintenance          

2.2.1             Maintain GeneVac solvent evaporator and Labconco Freeze Drying Systems;

2.2.2             Purchase consumables of above instruments, like seals, pump oils;

Contact engineer to repair these instruments as soon as possible.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education/Training, Experience and Certifications)

？  Chemical master’s degree or above

？  5 years related working experience in related chemical lab

？  Fluent written and oral English on academic Chemical
