Job Responsibilities

• Responsible to lead on all Quality Assurance, Food Safety and Hygiene related matters including review specifications for product or processes, ensuring adherence to health and safety guidelines, and meeting local authority’s obligations, World Food Safety Guidelines for Airline Catering, and other airlines food safety standards requirements

• Lead, motivate, guide and develop a team to achieve yearly set QA objectives

• Review and adopt the latest food safety standards to meet local regulatory (AVA), third party auditors (Medina, NSF, TuvSud) and Airlines clients requirements

• Deputy Management Representative for the SATS Catering Food Safety Management Sys

• Prepare the Food Safety Plan for Airline Catering RFQ

• Conduct the micro performance data analysis

• Explore opportunities for QA improvement and develop new efficient procedures or workflows

• Set quality requirements for raw material for suppliers and monitor their compliance

• Determine, negotiate and agreeing on in-house quality procedures, standards and specifications with all stakeholders

• Ensure that manufacturing processes comply with standards at both national and international level

• Project Manager covering the responsibility for specific customer projects, food safety and traceability projects and also Lean projects

• Administer third party cleaning contract, ensure proper execution and impose Liquidated Damages (LD) as per contract requirement

• Lead contact for internal and external audits

• Lead investigations and ensure prompt and satisfactory closure of all customers’ complaints

• Ensure accurate documentation, perform statistical analysis and submit detailed reports for management

• Conduct training and refresher QA and Food Hygiene course for stakeholders

 

Requirements

• Degree in Food Science and Nutrition or Food Technology with 8 years of relevant working experience

• Competent in Quality Assurance and have deep understanding of Quality, Food Safety and Hygiene Standards.

• Possess good interpersonal and team management skills

• Result oriented and meticulous with the ability to stand firm on decision that comply with food standard requirements
