Job Description

This position is with 2 main responsibilities:

ü Provide local support to the sales team and customers during proposal phase

ü Site management activities to the delivered projects

Mission:

Your mission is combined by Proposal function and Project function, it is to coordinate the project enquiries, working closely together with the sales team and preparing competitive application solutions. You will be part of the sales process and also project implementation, responsible for ensuring the best technical solutions are provided that fulfill Atlas Copco targets regarding, customer satisfaction, quality, on-time delivery etc..

Major responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:

ü Providing a saleable solution for End-user with a manageable budget.

ü Evaluating customer “Request for Quotation” requirements and customer specifications.

ü Risk review and mitigation

ü Preparation of the technical proposal working together with ACA resources

ü Validating our product offering to meet the RFQ requirement and other Atlas Copco targets

ü Contract reviews

· Project Implement phase:

ü Executing projects according to the Atlas Copco project process and reaching the project goals for cost, scope, time, quality and customer satisfaction

ü Coordinating teams assigned to the projects and acting as the main point of contact.

ü Work in close cooperation with sales, service and project team in ACA

ü Handling change requests during project implementation

ü Communicating project progress both internally and externally in a timely manner

ü Monitoring project progress compared to the project goals and process, and making corrections or time adjustments to reach these goals

ü Ensuring the customer requirements are met and that Final Acceptance is achieved

Education Requirements

· B.S. Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Experience Requirements

· Experience of working within an international matrix-organization and adapt easily to different cultures

· Experience in understanding and defining customer needs.

· Minimum 3 years’ experience in engineering related field

· Minimum 2 years of project management experience

· PMP certification is a plus

Knowledge

· Understanding of competition and product positioning

· Good knowledge about project management tools, theory and goal setting

· Understanding of mechanical/electrical/software design

· MS office, MS Project, AutoCAD, Lotus Notes

Language

· Fluent spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin)
