General:

The IE engineer position is responsible for the development and evaluation of the manufacturing process and realization accordingly.

Scope of Work:

The IE engineer position is responsible for approving the manufacturing layout, creating PFMEA with QA, R&D, designing the manufacturing process , define the process concept and equipment/tester and realize it accordingly, controlling whole process on her/his responsibility, improving the existing process.

l Layout design & Improvement

l Ergonomic Tooling / Fixture design

l Planning standard one piece flow breakdown, people configuration and Material flow

l One piece flow line balancing & Efficiency improvement

Requirements:

· Bachelor of engineering in precision engineering, mechanical engineering, electro-technical mechanics, or IE related.

· Experience in process planning of electrical, electronic, mechanical or automotive.

· Knowledge in manufacturing process in MNCs

· Fluent spoken and written English.

· Ability to work independently.

· Ability to assert oneself, independent decision making according to project targets.

• .At least 5 years of IE background in mechanical assembly
• Good at AutoCAD and Solidworks
• Good communication skills and team work spirit

Position Responsibilities:

· Process planner for production plant in Shanghai, China.

• Approve the manufacturing layout

· Ensure that new products and product changes are producible.

· Make concepts of new production equipment/tester.

· Purchase and validate production equipment/tester.

· Create and support preparation of production documents, such as routing plans, bill of materials, work- and inspection instructions.

· Evaluation of target times.

· Control the capacity status of production on PEP phase.

· Project coordination between different departments for projects such as product changes.

· Support of production

· Coordination and organization of production line transfers.

· CIP (continuous improvement process).

· Conformance to the management system requirements.
