Key Responsibilities:
Managing a portfolio of real estate of approx. 2 M SF (200K SM) and a network of outsourced service providers, the candidate will lead the negotiations on real estate projects throughout the region. Project will include site searches, leases and lease renewals/terminations, purchases & sales, small construction requirements. On larger construction projects partner with and help support the group's construction function. The candidate will help support due diligence on potential acquisitions, developing and executing upon consolidation strategies. They will partner with and support internal partners and customers such as finance, risk management/insurance, business units, and divisional teams along with the sites within the region. They will need to have an intense understanding of ethical behavior, legal terminology, various customs and the ability to comfortably communicate amongst varying levels within the company including senior leaders. In managing many projects, it's critical to be able to prioritize and multi-task as they execute upon the real estate plans (financial/timing) to ensure goals are met. A firm understanding of real estate and the ability to manage and leverage external support expertise (agents, contractors, etc.) on various projects is required. The manager will be part of a real estate team and will need to assist with various reports to ensure consistency and updates on all real estate related activity. The team uses an online real estate database for both portfolio and project management (Virtual Premise) for which the position will have responsibility to keep the data current for within the APAC region. Travel of approx. 30% within the region with a focus on China, India, Japan and Australia. The candidate will need to be a highly motivated self starter that can lead initiatives, and enable the entire team to exceed the group and company goals.

?Familiar with real estate and legal (contractual, property) terminology
?Understanding of various markets throughout the region
?Proven track record of managing various types of real estate projects
?Experience with benchmarking, space planning, developing and tracking key metrics.
?Ability to use Excel, PowerPoint, to quickly become familiar with the company's real estate database (property portfolio and project) [Virtual Premise]
?Priority and goal oriented individual with the ability to manage multiple projects
?Possess and maintain to the highest level of ethical standards, supporting a professional and highly visible business code of conduct
