职位描述
Job Description
1. Recruitment and Hiring of potential candidates. Process all recruitment requests in an effective and efficient manner.
2. Ensures all positions hold up to date job descriptions compiled by the relevant Department Heads.
3. Maintaining a fully functioning Human Resources Department including employment, screening, referrals, personnel record keeping, compensation and benefits, work permits and visa processing.
4. To advise, counsel and assist associates with problems or queries where needed.
5. Encourages a good standard of associates conduct and behavior and coordinates disciplinary procedure when necessary.
6. Liaises with the BTTHBK with regards to the Staff Cafeteria, particularly on the quality, variety and nutritious value of the food served.
7. Maintains close contact with all Department Heads through departmental visits, serving as an advisor and internal consultant on associate relations issues.
8. Coordinates and encourage sports and social activities on a regular basis.
9. Maintains lively and interesting staff notice boards.
10. In the absence of a Training Manager is fully responsible for all training matters including orientation, skills training, cross training, off job sessions. Interface with Hotel HR and external suppliers for the implementation of training or training programs to meet the business needs where appropriate.
11. Liaises with other Human Resources or Personnel Managers maintaining strong information links for better decision making.
12. Ensures appraisals are carried out for every associate at least once every 6 months. Reviews all appraisals and follows up on development needs, if required.
13. Is responsible for the implementation and coordination of all HR aspects within the group’s Balanced Scorecard Program.
14. Ensure Associate Survey is conducted twice a year.
15. To be in charge of payroll administration and to make all necessary co-ordination to make a smooth and efficient operation.
16. Maintain smooth running of the Human Resources Information System.
17. Monitor timely update of personnel records (personal details, position, salary, appraisal outcomes, leave records, training and awards).
18. Monitor on HR overseas deployment to ensure a smooth process.
19. Manage and coordinate with People Development Unit on grooming talented associates.
GENERAL
1. Monitor daily attendance.
2. Investigate and understand causes for associate absences.
3. Recommend solutions to resolve chronic attendance difficulties.
4. Provide basic counseling to associates who have performance related obstacles.
5. Provide advice and recommendations on disciplinary action.
6. Monitor scheduled absences such as holidays or travel and coordinate actions to ensure the associate absence has been adequately covered off to ensure continuity of services.
7. Provide advice and assistance to managers on associate recruitment.
8. Schedule and organize interviews and participate in applicant interviews.
9. Conduct reference checks on possible candidates.
10. Inform unsuccessful applicant.
11. Conduct exit interviews.
12. Promote workplace safety.
13. Contributes to the morale and team spirit of company by maintaining effective relationships with colleagues.
14. Undertake any other assignments and duties as may be required from time to time.
15. Ensure that all activities are carried out honestly, ethically and within the parameters of Law.
16. Protect and preserve the Company’s interest, reputation, and image at all times.
