Job description
This role designs applications required to automate business processes and meet business needs. The resulting design may run on multiple platforms and may be composed of multiple software packages and custom components. This role defines best practices in the critical evaluation and selection and / or development of the software components and hardware requirements of the applications and data, and the development of the application, including evaluation and selection of development methods, development processes, best practices and tools. Applications Architects are responsible for applications-related quality, performance, availability, scalability, and integrity. They are also responsible for the functional interface to applications and for ensuring application usability.
Job Responsibilities:
- Apply your knowledge of information technology and the associated methods and tools of the IT Architect profession to attain project / business unit objectives
- Provide technical proposals and architectural design for large-scale web application creation, upgrade, transformation, integration or optimization.
- Demonstrate strong technical leadership to development team and work closely with project management team, business analyst team and testing team across the world.
- Work independently or effectively with other team members to get deep understanding of business requirements and customer needs, evaluate and develop IT solutions which meet those needs.
- Advise other professionals (Project Managers, IT Architects and IT Specialists) in the team on tools, technology and methodology related to the design and development of IT solutions, and participate in evaluation and selection.
- Negotiate effectively with team members (vendors, subcontractors, clients and IBMers) to identify each member's role in solution design and development, guide and influence team members to accomplish the team's technical and schedule goals.
Required:
- At least 10 years experience of requirement analysis, design, development, implementation and testing including developing large-scale web applications
- At least 5 years experience in developing solution architecture
- At least 5 years experience in leading individuals and teams
- At least 4 years experience in developing client requirements and architectural decisions
- At least 2 years experience in using consulting techniques
- Strong business acumen, be able to lead department's technical direction setting and strategy design
- Broad knowledge on modeling, design patterns, refactoring, design and development methodology and practices.
- Strong software engineering, project management knowledge & experience
Base in SH or SZ, but request to be flexibile for business traveling with project funding. one year or above is highly preferred.

Job Responsibilities:
