Description

The person will be working with Inkjet Printing Solution R&D divisions, GBU TCE/Quality organization, IPS Operation NPI/Sustaining engineering teams, and Operation quality and supply chain teams, and manufacturing partners, in different locations and countries to ensure the products designed and manufactured can consistently meet HP quality specification and customer satisfaction. Detailed responsibility includes:

1. Foxconn CQ Dragon program HWQE support, main responsibilities include program quality management, tooling transfer qualification, factory products audit and troubleshooting & problem solving.

2. Provide quality engineering support to ensure smooth New Product Introduction and on-going manufacturing activities.

3. Define the reliability testing strategy; reliability test plan and conduct test to ensure new developed products and CPE stage quality meet quality/reliability specification.

4. Ability in reliability prediction, risk analysis in entire product life cycle.

5. Conduct design review and close the loop with R&D to fix design issues.

6. Manage NPI and CPE qualification, timely update the program team regarding the failures found in testing. Perform failure analysis, generate failure reports, and recommend solution & path forward.

7. Ability in managing/optimizing local qualification infrastructure, and ensure testing effectiveness and efficiency.

8. Plan and perform reliability tests for design driven cost reduction, assurance of supply, capacity expansion, quality issue resolution etc.

9. Set up the 3rd party audit and customer's satisfaction audit process. Train relevant manufacturing partner personnel to conduct the test.

10. Work with CA, CPE and R&D teams to address any failure found in the production or customer complaint from fields and follow up on the corrective actions for continuous improvement and prevention in next product generation.

11. Quality program management skillset and system view, solid capability and leadership in managing multiple programs other than hardware quality, for example, product regulation, Firmware, customer satisfaction and warranty.

12. Enthusiasm, influence power in driving for quality excellence and best customer experience.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's (undergraduate) or above degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Automation or Quality engineering with minimum 6 years working experience in equivalent industry and job discipline.

2. Engineering experience in new product development, introduction and support, or Experience in quality engineering management under high volume manufacturing environment.

3. Experience on R&D and CPE support. Design experience would be a plus.

4. Ability to advice and influence others over complex issues.

5. Keen awareness of customer perceptions.

6. Excellent communication skills.

7. Project management skills.

8. Be proactive and initiative.

9 .Fluency in English and local language.
