Job Responsibilities:

1.Takes the lead in managing the executive quality relationships with the assigned key customer accounts. Interface with customers’quality engineers and quality managers in all aspects of quality and reliability such as quality/ reliability issues, expectations, planning, safe launch, customer requirements for our products. 

2.Monitor, communicate and improve key Customer KPI’s, including Customer Scorecards, corrective actions response time and PPM improvement .

3.Ensure clear and timely communication of customer issues including the status of the actions in process both internally to DTC cross functional teams, and appropriate feedback to the customer.

4.Promote and Drive “Zero Defect” mentality within the quality Organization for proactive tools such Lean, Six-Sigma, Poka-Yoke (Error Proofing), Measurement System Analysis, Advance Product and Quality Planning (APQP) Statistical Process control (SPC) and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) .

5.Provide direction and leadership to remote team of FSEs (Field Service Engineers) and supporting internal DTC functions to drive resolution of customer Line and Field quality issues with our products. Ensure FSE team members are continuously improving the necessary skills for their job functions.

6.Drive customer and industry (AIAG Effective Problem-Solving guideline) expectations in problem solving. Lead coaching teams on customer specific formats as required (8D/5D, A3, DMAIC 7Steps, etc).

7.Assist in the approval of First Article Inspection (FAI) and PPAP reports with Customers 

8.Work with cross functional teams to apply product quality standards, customer specifications and industry standards and develop testing and evaluation techniques to ensure material quality is to customers’ expectations and requirements.

9.Be familiar with capabilities and limitations of DTC and outside processors and have the ability to communicate this information to customers.

10.Ensure results are documented properly and systematically following established policies.

11.Leads across the business to identify and share company-wide best practices, sets the priorities for business excellence, and identifies future projects that will drive continuous improvement of our product and processes. Influence the organization to ensure the right quality metrics on the scorecard.

 

Job Requirements:

1.BS in Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Reliability Engineering, Physics or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience in customer services, manufacturing, design, test and/or reliability.An MBA is a plus.

2.Fluent in Mandarin and English is must (reading, writing and spoken)

3.Significant experience in developing and implementing strategies for the collection, analysis and utilization of customer satisfaction, customer feedback and other data to help improve the customer experience 

4.Significant experience developing and implementing strategies for the use of digital applications and technologies to improve the customer experience 

5.Experience in commercial/industrial quality operations. Understanding the manufacture and testing of mechanical systems is necessary, and experience in mechatronics manufacturing and control is a significant positive. 

6.Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and experience in working with global company is preferred. 

7.The applicant should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to balance multiple tasks and work within a multi-disciplinary team. The position requires effective, fact-based interaction with customers, suppliers and engineers from various internal and external sites.

8.Experience in building cross functional relationships, across different organizational levels and in multi-cultural settings 

9.Excellent structured problem solving and project management skills

10.Process control knowledge and implementation experience (PFMEA. SPC, CPK, Gage R & R, Control Plans, etc.) is a plus.

11.Ability to innovate

12.Ability to effectively handle difficult or demanding personalities through communication and action

13.Excellent communicator and empathic listener

14.Strong influencing skills and ability to use these skills to effect actions within the organization

18.Experience in the industrial compressor market (HVAC), Automobile or Aerospace industry is a plus.
