Job Description
? Application Engineer for PON Access team, enabling software solution and providing technical level support to Broadcom FAE's & customers.
? Enable customization solution for customer in areas of real time embedded features, protocol stack and drivers including writing, compiling and testing patches (fixes and small features) to customers.
? Enable Level-2 support for ASIA customers' issues in CPE Access networking products, working with multiple international peers (R&D, FAEs, etc..) and customers taking ownership of technical issues.
? Conduct training on Broadcom products and technologies
? Developing customer-facing documentation
? Providing worldwide on-site support in customer's premises


Job Requirements
? Strong technical background in networking: good knowledge in L2-4 networking protocols and software development stacks, experience with access network products
? Experience of at least 7 years in networking RT Embedded software development
? System wide perspective
? Capable to manage customer issues according to priorities and provide regular status reports
? Ability to create documentation and technical notes for local customers
? Available to provide quick response time for support issues
? Experience with Linux-must
? Experienced with real time software design and L2-L4 networking
? Experienced in reproduce customer issues in lab, debug and search for root cause.
? Experienced with customer's on-site support
? Experience with residential gateways-Advantage
