Key areas of accountability/responsibility

1. Development of the project/program plan:

a. Create, in agreement with the project/program owner, an integreated project/program plan, aimed at creating agreed business benefits.

b. Develop an integrated planning, budget, timeline including quality, organization, information management and SHE.

c. Assemble an adequante project/program team and manage suppliers of resources or services to the project.

2. Execution of the project/program:

a. Manage the execution of the project/program within a given PMP phase, in compliance with the applicable requirements and standards.

b. Break down the projcet objectives into measurable KPI's and drive the realization of these KPIs.

c. Challenge individual work plans to ensure effective teamwork.

d. Seek advice and challenge in optimizing effectiveness.

e. Gather options, carefully select, evaluate and propose a final option (ensure different perspectives are brought together). Monitor whether the reasons for selecting that option remain valid and if not re-visit the option selection process.

f. Manager the project/program's scope via proper change management.

g. Identify and manage the project/program risks and inform the project/program owner timely whtn project risk profile changes.

h. Inform and educate PO/RT in case of risks incl. the implications.

i. Advise the project/program owner when a phase review is required and prepare the information package for the review team meeting.

3. Reporting on the progress of the project/program:

a. Organize the tracking of results of projects.

b. Make sure VARs are requested when appropriate and the recommendations are implemented.

c. Report to the project/program owner the progress on an agreed basis.

e. Manage the expectations of the stakeholders and provide adequate information to the relevant stakeholders timely.

f. To be responsible for the project administration and the production of project documentation.

g. To contribute to the portfolio and delivery planning for GIS Portfolio delivery of projects.

4. Closing of the project/program:

a. Ensure proper hand over of project/program deliverables to running business for the effective realization of the aimed business benefits.

b. Evaluate the project/program and share relevant lessons learned.

c. Dismantle the project/program team after celebrating achievements and ensuring when possible professional future of team members.

d. Maintain the project administration and documentation.

5. functional Excellence:

a. Be ambassador and promote the professional development of project management in DSM.

b. Participate actively in organizing and execution of peer reviews.

c. Have an active role in the PM community activities and excellence program.

d. Be mentor of other PMs.

e. Advice to the PO and RT on PM governance matters.

1. Bachelor's Degree in Information Management of Information Technology(or comparable level in acting or thinking).
2. Successfully completed In-house project management training.
3. Need to have external project management certification (PMI-CAPM or PMI-PMP, Agile-Scrum)
4. 8+ years of IT experience and including 6+ years of experience managing projects. Additional equivalent work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
5. Strong project management experience, demonstrated with these following skills like peoject integration management, scope management, time management, managing project costs, quality management, communication management, risk management ect. and proven experience in initiating, planning, executing-monitoring & controlling and closing projects.
