Job Description
1. Provide disruptive innovations on robotic technology and contribute to conceptualizing, designing, building, testing, and demonstrating robot prototype
2. Design and develop hardware architectures and embedded systems for autonomous robotic systems.
3. Carry out ambitious research work by investigating novel solutions with potential for breakthrough innovations.
4. Create new technologies to invent the future, drive thought leadership and create unique intellectual property that would provide a strong basis for sustained future product differentiation and essential standards.
5. Create and maintain strong collaborative relationships with researchers from academia, leading research bodies, Nokia business units, customers and government agencies.
Qualifications
1. M.S. or Ph.D in EE, automatic control or other related fields.
2. 3+ years of experience with robotics or Machine Learning about Robot or complex electro/mechanical systems with motion control
3. Experience with embedded system design including microcontrollers, processors, FPGAs, sensors, power systems and motor control
4. Good at some of the following protocols: I2C, SPI, PCI, PCIe, USB, CAN, CAN-FD, LVDS, MIPI, Ethernet (10/100/1000Base-T)
5. Excellent knowledge of analogue and digital electronic circuit design.
6. Excellent hardware troubleshooting skills.
7. Must be able to think at the systems level to drive design solutions for a complex system using diverse disciplines: Software, Electrical and Mechanical
8. Excellent spoken, written communications skills in English.
9. High responsibility, self-motived and team spirit.
