With dedicated Relationship Managers and Business Specialists providing local support and advice in over 60 countries and territories, HSBC helps customers make the most of opportunities for their businesses.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of Senior Relationship Assistant, International Banking Centre, CMB HBCN.

In this role, you will:

·To assist the AVP International Banking Centre to manage the International Banking Centre (IBC) in HBCN CMB, acting as a central resource for cross-border initiatives to ensure the delivery of top quality customer service in the cross-border account opening process in HBCN CMB aligned with Standard Operations Procedures.

·To enhance and increase inbound and outbound conversion rates by reviewing and improving the referral process

·To support the CMB IBC team in line with the Global CMB Leading International Business goals

·To proactively manage and utilize a variety of communication channels to raise awareness of HBCN CMB’s capabilities amongst Group members and stakeholders

·To deploy the use of MI tools and other CMB systems so as to monitor IBC referral performance and promote cross-border business

·To work closely with other CMB LIB teams, local teams and Business Banking teams to identify/explore cross-border business opportunities and achieve customer satisfaction

·To achieve growth of cross-border business by proactively initiating and developing internal cross-border referral promotion schemes and bilateral agreements with overseas sites

·To be HBCN contact point and work closely with overseas HSBC Group Office IBCs to ensure correct understanding of overseas account opening requirements as well as product features for inbound and outbound referrals.

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

·University graduate or above (recognized by the state)

·General understanding of the banking industry to be acquired from at least 2 years of general banking experience

·Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

·Fluent spoken and written English

·Account opening experience
