Overview:

• Maintain bottom line disciplines and achieve FGEN P/L target

• Handle A&H accounts quotations & referrals

• Assist PA Underwriting Manager in providing UW supports for MNA accounts requiring local quotation/policy issuance from China

• Deeply involved in product development/ product filing with regulator

  Expectations:

• Underwriting Quotations & Referral --- to achieve TAT/SLA targets for both local A accounts and B/C accounts

• Portfolio Management -----Initiate proper actions for portfolio management to ensure the achievement of loss ratio targets

• Underwriting Collaboration-----Liaise with sales operation, marketing, Systems, Legal, Claims and Finance/Accounting Departments to ensure awareness of underwriting activities that require support and service

• Major Account ----- Contribute to major account administration that appears to be complicated or affecting the profitability of PA book.

• Underwriting Compliance------ conduct periodic audits, support the team to ensure underwriting compliance and stick to Underwriting guidelines

• Documentation ------- maintain the rules of UW documentation to ensure the underwriting records kept in safe and orderly storage

• Underwriting Reports ----Assist PA Underwriting Manager in the preparation of underwriting reports, analysis

• Interpretation of compliance/regulation ----- collaborate with legal on interpretation of compliance /regulation requirements and drive/ initiate workable & efficient solution/action responding to requirement relevant to underwriting practices/products

• Product Development ----- work together with PD department for product filing with regulator, including policy wording draft, policy kits, underwriting rules & procedure, product trainings

任职要求：

Educational Qualifications:

• University degree or higher, insurance educational backgrounds would be preferred

• Minimum 3-5 years plus experience in underwriting and / or actuarial sciences

  Professional and Technical Skills and Experience:

• Proven PA technical underwriting skills

• Strong customer service ethic, with a sound understanding of business processes & PA products

• Excellent communication and influencing skills – both written and oral

• Strong Knowledge of country regulatory and compliance requirements

  Business Acumen:

• Understands complex concepts and is analytical

• Understands what drives the bottom line; has strong financial/quantitative capabilities
