Responsibilities:
The IT Support Manager (Singapore, Australia and Franchisee in Asia Pacific) is responsible for the local operations performed by IT Support in Singapore, Australia and Franchisee in Asia Pacific area plus some small country level activities managed remotely.
This position coordinates with other service lines and global teams. to ensure the continuity and service improvements of all desktop services and is the first escalation level for critical incidents in this environment.
Functional responsibilities include but not limited to:
Service Desk, On Site Support, Messaging Services, User Rights Management,
Service Requests Management, Asset Management, Software License Management and compliance, Internal Supply & procurement Deployment and use of global tools, standards and process in line with strategy and individual projects.
Contribute toward global activities for new tools and process
Communication and coordination within managed teams and cascade of country/global information including strategy and objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or higher required.
Over 5 to 10 years IT supports experience.
Must be familiar with Power builder and Sybase database platform.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
ITIL, Service desk processes, time management, ability to manage priorities, financial budget management.
A good knowledge of the English language is essential.
Being able to travel domestically and throughout the Asia/Pacific area is required.
