Job Description：

A. Develops and interpret layouts and drawings of parts, raw materials, assemblies and specifications for castings, forgings, stampings, powdered metal, and machined components. 

B. Stays abreast of latest industry trends in area of expertise with the idea of incorporating latest technologies into the product development process. 

C. Conduct product/system analysis through simulation, FEA, calculations and related means. Understand and interpret results to identify problems. 

D. Creates technical project plans and validation activities for new engineering concepts. Reports test result in a clear and concise manner, and makes design recommendations. 

E. Support the implementation of design changes to improve quality, performance, cost reduction, and standardization through analysis of designs and problem solving techniques. 

F. Understands design, development, and failure analysis through the use of DFMEA, customer returns, or specific development projects. Applies fundamental engineering practices and decision making for problem solving. 

G. Understands the engineering methodologies within the division as well as other departments and their relationship to engineering. Participates in providing the creation, implementation and administration of departmental policies, procedures, and work instructions in order to build and promote a team environment for product introduction, development and support activities. 

H. Participates in customer activities with application engineers and Sales team to demonstrate product technology and engineering capabilities toward earning new business. Creates and performs product training program for customers and internal team members. 

Qualifications：

1. Bachelor degree in engineering required
2. 5+ years of engineering work experience required
3. Skilled using AutoCAD, ProE
4. Fluent in English (verbal and written)
5. Strong design knowledge and working experience on powertrain design 
6. Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills 
7. Strong ethics, values and the ability to influence and impact others’ decision making 
8. Ability to deal with ambiguity and make decisions 
9. Ability to manage multiple programs, set priorities and achieve results
