Essential Responsibilities:

You will be a part of a team that designs, implements, qualifies, and validates electrical and electronic portion for future scanner products at HP Shanghai R&D center in China. Innovation is a key as you translate market requirements and business needs into a quality product that addresses the needs of our customers. You will be heavily involved in all aspects of the product lifecycle: Requirements, Design, Prototype, Implementation, Qualification, and Current product support.

Primary responsibilities will include:

1. Lead the scanner design efforts for electrical and electronic parts, subsystems, integrated circuitry, and algorithms based on established engineering principles and in accordance with development technology practices and guidelines.

2. Using 3rd party development resources define detailed electrical & electronic development requirements, communicate 3rd party resources, develop milestone based schedule to assure appropriate progress, audit development to assure electrical & electronic meets design criteria milestones.

3. Develop and implement parameters and test plans for new and existing designs, including validation of electromagnetic interference, ESD, safety, reliability, and system power measurements etc.

4. Investigate and provide countermeasures for electrically/electronically induced image artifacts and other system margin and functionality deficiencies.

Qualifications

Essential skills include

· Strong team work and leadership within both technical and non-technical communities.

· Ability to organize people around technical and business issues and to resolution

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Basic understanding of a performance driven team environment.

Qualification:

Must

· B.S. in electrical & electronic Engineering or related

· 5+ years engineering experience

Desired

· Scanner electrical & electronic development experience.

· Good understanding of electrical & electronic induced image defects
