Asia Packaging Sourcing Manager provides management of strategic sourcing in the Packaging categories within the entire Asia region (China, North South East Asia, India and Middle East Africa) to drive strong business results & sustainable long-term competitive advantages. The role will be responsible to manage Packaging sourcing across Asia production sites. This role will include the management of 2 Packaging category buyers in the region.

?    Support global Packaging S2P and ensure successful execution in Asia region

?    Lead and develop a team of 2 category buyers based in Shanghai and Mumbai

?    Identify savings ideas and deliver the business margin improvement goals through active management of responsible categories

?    Connect & Input regional information to global sourcing strategies and deploy for Packaging sourcing (including resin and fiber categories), align with Global Holistic category strategies. Work with General Mills Global Sourcing, business units and other stakeholders to leverage worldwide supplier relationships & buying synergies.

?    Consolidate existing supply base and identify strategic external partners for each category in Asia. Develop and execute solid supplier relationship management strategies to deliver defined business results.

?    Develop a solid workflow to support Packaging initiatives in a timely manner while in line with long-term business strategies.

?    Partner with ITQ to identify savings opportunities for all Asia brands.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Demonstrated ability to create and lead the implementation of sourcing strategies.

• Knowledge of packaging sourcing.

• Significant experience in supplier relationship management.

• Excellent communication skills to collaborate across various functions both internally and externally.

• Strong project management expertise

• Bachelor's Degree

• Fluent mandarin and English communication

• 6 years of related experience, 10 years preferred

• Food industry experiences preferred
