职位描述
Role Synopsis:
? The main purpose to have this position is to reinforce the raw material sourcing function in China so as to strongly support regional/global procurement strategy in China.
Key Accountabilities:
? Accountable to line manager for the procurement deliverables in China.
? Understand business needs and collaborate with line manager to identify opportunities and develop necessary solutions to materialize the anticipated value.
? Build effective relationships with suppliers to promote as a preferred customer and manages suppliers' operational performance.
? Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders (including manufacturing, technology, marketing, logistic & sales personnel) to achieve the purpose of this role.
? Effective understanding of Lubricant material market environment in China.
? Delivery of cost-saving projects on base oil/additives and enable timely reporting of benefits.
? Ensure compliance with required policies covering HSE, Ethics, Code of Conduct and Procurement Guiding Principles.
Essential Experience
? An effective team player.
? Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with suppliers;
? Good commercial acumen.
? Be able to get along well different levels within the organization.
? Good knowledge of base oil/additives supply market environment is desirable.
? Demonstrate effective technical understanding of specialty chemicals and their applications. Knowledge of their usage in lubricants is a plus.
? Proven performance track record in the past years.
? More than 5 years working experience with good track record in a commercial role (such as sales, marketing or procurement) or a marketing technical support role with demonstrated flair for a commercial position.
Desirable Criteria
? A post graduate certification in business study is advantageous but not critical.
? Proficient in Chinese and English.
