This role is focused on developing the business of our newly acquired LIMS and ELN focused company – Genohm! Join the fast-paced, high energy Genohm SLIMS team. Genohm is looking for an experienced Life Sciences Sales Business Development Professional.  You are a dynamic individual with a thirst for knowledge, and an entrepreneurial drive. 

?          You are a scientifically sound, experienced in selling Scientific Software and/or SaaS, lab automation savvy, sales professional with a strong network of potential customers. 

?          You must excel at developing new accounts and new territories

?          Be proficient enough in scientific workflows to work independently in the field. 

?          Technically capable and able to successfully demonstrate the Genohm software suite on your own.

You’ll be calling on biobanks, drug discovery, discovery biology, preclinical pharma and biotech laboratories, clinical, NGS, and genomics labs, and must have a working knowledge of their assays (including, but not limited to; ELISA, qPCR, NGS, biobanking, and SAR assays such as dose/response, and cell based assays).  Ideally, you’ll have experience selling software, and negotiating Service Level agreements with large biotech and pharma.   This is a great opportunity to join an expanding commercial team, with truly unique technology and help grow the SLIMS business across multiple markets.

For this role, we needs:

• 5+ years of life sciences sales/key account management experience
• SaaS, LIMS or other scientific software sales experience a must
• Proven ability to generate quality leads without assistance
• Market development experience
• Technically competent
• Intimate knowledge of the Biotech and Pharma industry
• Strong scientific acumen
• CRM proficiency
• Ability to travel at least 50% of the time (overnight)
• Lab automation exposure
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (BS/BA in a life science preferred)
• Coding knowledge a plus but not required
