职位描述
SUMMARY:
1. Responsible for OB/GYN outpatient‘’s daily operation and maintaining department nursing practice, training nurses by applying general and up-to-dated standards of nursing practice.
2. Responsible for nursing service quality and continuous improving to meet patient and family satisfaction.
3. Leading team to achieve organization mission and vision, adhere to JIH policies and regulations.
4. As a team leader, preceptor and general nurse to practice within the scope of services.
5. Perform full responsibilities when department is short of staffs.
6. In view of organization development, the role and position will be changed to align with service need.
Patient Care and Management: Interpersonal engagement and management of the patient and/or family.
1. Collaborate with administrative, physician leaders, advisors to plan and commission a patient-centric, and cost effective Women Health services. Ensure commissioning collaboration is effective and meets Jiahui’s need and timeline.
2. Support and communicate the Nursing Services’ infrastructure, mission, vision and value, policies and procedures to employees within service of scopes.
3. Design and implement processes that delivery quality services including patient experience, workflow, and staffing model.
4. Supervise all nurses to ensure staff conduct and services rendered are safe, competent, and professional.
5. Plan and prepare staff schedule and assignments, be a general nurse while nurse is not enough.
6. Plan and monitor staff training and development in accordance to learning and organizational needs.
7. Communicate information with staffs timely and effectively.
8. Respond promptly to patient feedback, investigate and reply expeditiously.
9. Attend promptly to the incidents such as hazards etc., perform investigation and submit necessary reports for clinical review and continuous improvement.
10. Conduct performance appraisal and counsel nursing staff in a manner that correct problems and promote professional growth.
11. To maximize resources utilization and efficiency to ensure adequacy of resources to meet patient care requirement.
Managerial Knowledge and Skills: Skill attained through formal and experiential knowledge.
1. Monitor departmental key performance indicators for service quality and efficiency.
2. Communicate with respective committees with development of improvement plans.
3. Ensure that administrative procedures are adhered according to hospital and regulatory policies.
4. Adhere to Jiahui’s HR policy and procedures when conducting interview, hiring, and discipline of nursing staff.
5. Knowledgeable about technology that supports the deliver and monitoring of safe and quality care.
6. Initiate and implement changes to improve the quality of care and work processes in the assigned area.
7. Develop department work plans based on organizational planned strategies to fulfill organizational goals.
8. Create and maintain a healthy work environment so that all members of the team can practice at their highest level.
9. Assist Department Director with the operating and capital equipment budget process and assure cost effective use of resources.
10. Be accessible and approachable to staff and patients at all time during working hours.
11. Be proactively sharing information and coordinating within and outside of the organization
12. Understand and articulate the code of Nursing and Ethics and regulatory requirements
13. Provide leadership and direction to lead, manage and respond to both planned and unplanned events.
14. Demonstrate integrity and ethics with personal conduct.
15. Be open-minded and non-judgmental when dealing with conflicts.

Qualifications:
1. Hold current PRC nursing license.
2. Hold midwife certificate and active.
3. Bachelor degree in nursing or above.
4. Minimum 8-10 years of midwife working experience with at least 5 years of supervision/management experience.
5. Oversea experience preferred.
6. Valid certifications (BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, etc.) Per hospital policy.
7. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, HIS.
8. Able to communicate in English.
