职位描述

Software Architect

Job Summary:

The System/Engineer/Architect is responsible for performing installation testing on Acxiom products as well as Infrastructure releases as they come through our Software Release model.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Test install of software to confirm it meets corporate standards for quality and supportability.

· Perform Technical Acceptance testing on the products to improve quality.

· Work with Development teams to troubleshoot install and support issues.

· Work with Technical Writer to produce a release level installation guide for each release.

· Manage and perform recurring maintenance of the Dev/Test environment including data and software updates as necessary.

· Work with other support teams for changes outside of our scope.

· Work with stakeholders to hand off release to the next stage of the release process.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or related field.

· Minimum 3-5 years experience in Systems Administration or 7 years professional IT experience.

· Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, CET 6 or equivalent is required.

· Knowledge and experience in open architecture development and web services implementation.

· Knowledge of command line operating systems (Linux/Unix).

· Knowledge of Database (Oracle, MySQL).

· Microsoft Office Applications Experience (Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook & PowerPoint).

· Strong analytical skills.

· Knowledge of file packaging and delivery tools (RPM).

· Ability to work effectively on highly complex, mission critical projects with little direction.

Desired Skills:

· Experience with scripting languages (Perl, shell, Java).

· Familiar with software development lifecycle and software development methodology.
