职位描述
Job Summary:
The Tester is primarily responsible for the analysis, design, planning, execution and maintenance of automated and manual testing, reporting of test results and defect management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Executes test cases / Scripts and analyzes outcomes.
- Performs testing and documenting the actual results
- Performs all aspects of defect tracking
- Creates test data if required
- Develop test scripts, test conditions, test procedures and expected results for one or more test plans, including product, component, assembly, performance, and user acceptance tests
- Execute test scripts
- Validate fixes and ensures follow through to all test cycles
- Inform the test lead of any issues that may affect the schedule, budget, or quality of the product or the testing process
- Reporting bugs for analysis
- Documenting the actual results and metrics
- Analyzes defects to determine root cause
- Communicating execution status to the Test Manager
- Organizes testing execution and results
- Maintains information in appropriate testing tools
- Perform job role according to defined testing standards and procedures.
- Continuous Improvement – Continuously review and help define new standards and procedures within the organization to improve efficiencies and quality.
Requirements:
· Relevant work experience in the following areas:
o Experience with HP Quality Center, Quick Test Professional (QTP) or any other equivalent testing tools
o Experience working in both Windows and Linux platforms
o Strong SQL and PL/SQL
o Proven ability to create test cases, test data, and test procedures.
o Experience developing scripts to automate user interface testing using QTP (Nice to Have)
o Microsoft Office Applications
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or related field.
· Good written English communication skills, CET 4 or equivalent is required
