Purpose
& Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Develop on short calendars industry
leading creative solutions in order to extend the global adidas Originals apparel
collection for the China market and amplify relevancy, desirability of adidas
brand image, from sell in to sellout (consumer-facing)Key
Responsibilities:Lead the creative development of concepts which extend the
Originals apparel strategy with a clear focus on China market needs across mens
and womens categoryDevelop consumer centric creative strategies with a heavy focus
on outerwear categoryCollaborate with Product Design team to ensure holistic
storytellingCollaborate with cross-functional team members to ensure
consumer- and brand focusHigh frequency communication to Germany HQ key design team
members in order to maximise harmonisation between local product creation and originals
global collectionLead the execution of creative strategies to ensure end to
end creative excellence from sellin to sellout (consumer-facing)Create together with the direct reports highly relevant top
class design solutions and ensure the accurate translation of those into
techpacks which include all relevant sketches, artworks, fit,
material-, color-, and trimming informationFollow up of creative strategy on sample level and ensure
maximum market and consumer relevancyReview and approve production stages of creative execution
Maximise results within given budget and timeframes
Present and communicate creative solutions with clarity,
effectively selling in ideas to variety of stakeholdersIdentify opportunities of improvement and change, and
initiate own proposals/projectsGrow, mentor and support the direct
reportsSeek out new Design resources that can deliver world class

approvalsLanguage: English: excellent
Knowledge of Chinese is an advantage
Requisite
Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:Under-graduate level Design
education or combination thereofSolid education and advanced
experience in the creative development of communication toolsAt least 6-8 years experience in
Sporting Goods/Fashion Industry or Design on managerial levelDesign experience in Outerwear
category will be an advantageProven experience with the entire
design process (project scope and time planning, design steps, production/execution
of design solution, pre-press processes)Passion for adidas and it’s
missionPassion for sports, culture,
design
