Job Description

Operational Task:

·？？？？？？ Ensure master data maintenance & route set up for TMS are timely completed;

·？？？？？？ Shipping data collection and analysis for tender preparing; rate verification after RFQ;

？

Tactical planning:

·？？？？？？ Strategic network optimization and projects e.g. tender, CIP

·？？？？？？ Identification, realization and monitoring of cost-saving potentials within transportation network

·？？？？？？ Drive transportation route optimization and implementation to generate saving;

·？？？？？？ Build up good business relationship with responsible plant in terms of overland transportation related topic;

·？？？？？？ Bid data analysis ability to figure out potential saving direction;？

·？？？？？？ Good sense of logistics market trend ;

Controlling:

·？？？？？？ Regular rolling forecast for transportation cost and internal charge for responsible plant;

·？？？？？？ Analysis of freight cost deviation according to financial report;

？

System:

·？？？？？？ Responsible as key user/expert for TMS system usage within the team;

？

Strategic support:

·？？？？？？ Proactively build connection with LSPs or "TMC concept" companies for knowledge change and strategy design;

·？？？？？？ Drive innovation (eg. New transportation concept or technologies) to improve service and cost efficiency related to transportation for strategic requirement;

·？？？？？？ Develop TMC product portfolio in order to meet customer requirement;

·？？？？？？ Support future new business roll out into TMC;

？

Qualifications

1.？？？？？？ Bachelor/Master or equivalent practical experience with focus on logistics or supply chain

2.？？？？？？ Minimum 3-5 years transportation related experience

3.？？？？？？ Experience in logistics, preferably in plant transportation management or 3PL transportation department;？

4.？？？？？？ Distinct analytical skills with strong MS excel skills

5.？？？？？？ Experience in use of Transport Management System

6.？？？？？？ Good process analytic skills like VSM & VSS

7.？？？？？？ Fluent & effective verbal and written communication in English and Mandarin

8.？？？？？？ Excellent communication and inter-personal skills with ability to work cross-functional

9.？？？？？？ Independently lead/coordinate projects with ability to adjust project priorities

10.？？ Good team player with self-motivation, ability to work under pressure in a very dynamic work environment

11.？？ High level of customer orientation
