Role Description:
The Sales Account Manager will work with the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) and Technical Account Manager (TAM) to grow and develop an assigned sales territory for GenScript product/service lines and to achieve sales and profit goals
Key Responsibilities:
· Achieve agreed upon sales and profit targets
· Responsible for understanding customer’s research application and match GenScript services and products to align with the customer’s research project requirements
· Develop and implement territory sales strategies to penetrate and grow different markets - Industrial/Academic/Governmental
· Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments (Regional marketing, finance, technical support, etc)
· Plan and organize roadshows/morning tea, attend local conferences to improve GenScript brand awareness; Properly track and follow up leads generated from such events
· Utilize CRM to systematically manage contacts and sales funnel
Qualifications:
- Academic degree in scientific disciplines, preferably life science;
- Good communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills with a proficiency in English;
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization;
- Strong business sense and analytical skills;
- Ability to travel up to 50% overnight;
- Relevant sales experience and network are preferred.
