Overview of job
We are looking for an Account to work across our GroupM’s three media agency Strategic and Tactical teams to assist internal and client education, consulting and joint planning to drive audience campaigns and add value and insight to our clients campaigns Programmatic Buying Unit (PBU) is a specialized functional team in GroupM working with three media agencies Mindshare, Wavemaker and Mediacome to tap into the opportunity of programmatic buying. We are a dynamic and fast growing team with support from GroupM resources including its unique data and tech offerings [m]platform.
Measures of success –
In three months
? Understand the Chinese digital industry and trends;
? Understand basic knowledge of digital media and programmatic buying process.
In six months
? Equipped with excellent client consulting and account serving ability;
? Be able to lead and manage one or few programmatic campaigns independently and deliver good outcomes eventually.
In 12 months
? Has an in-depth knowledge towards Chinese programmatic/ad-tech environment;
? Be able to initiate and propose projects that bring values to clients, agencies and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities of the role:
? Build a trusted relationship with all agency client, strategic and tactical planning teams in SH
? Together with agencies develop a programmatic media strategy and new business plan
? Provide excellent account servicing to ensure clients’ campaign deliver against expectation
What you will need:
? At least 3 to 4 years’ experience in account servicing at a media, e-commerce, advertising technology company or agency
? Having experience working with agencies is highly preferable
? Excellent written and presentation skills
? Comfortable with numbers and calculations
? Have some experience with data and/or campaign analytics and insights
? Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks
A Major Plus & Nice to Have
? Experience at or with a DSP (Demand Side Platform) or Data Management Platform company
? Comprehensive knowledge of the digital landscape and major players in the marketplace
? Media planning or buying experience
