Mission Statement:

The role of the Product Training Program Developer is to build up a system by providing sustainable and consistent training programs and processes of DP product portfolios throughout the ABB organization and channel partners that will support and promote business growth

Tasks:

• Working as part of the LPG Drive Products, reporting to Product Marketing Management Manager

• Evaluate needs of sales and technical sides both from ABB and channel partners, and then plan training programs accordingly

• Prepare and monitor about implementing training plans

• Coordinate to create brochures and training materials

• Build solid cross-functional relationships to define, track and report on key training metrics to measure progress and results of training programs

• Plan, organize and facilitate training events

• Coordinate TPM/PM/Solution teams on curriculum reviews, additional training requirements and trainee certification

• Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience

• Develop effective training materials utilizing a variety of media

Requirements (must have):

• Bachelor degree in Automation or Electrical engineering

• >3 years of experience in engineering or technical support related to automation or drive products

• Good English and Chinese communication skills (in word and writing)

• Proactive attitude and willing to take challenges and encouraging & motivating the whole team to do so

• Good communication, problem solving and consultation skills

• Able to build strong relationships with other functions

Requirements (good to have):

• Training related experience

• Knowledge of instructional design, curriculum and content development, multimodal methods of training delivery, learning platforms and evaluation

• Good organizational and project management skills
