Essential Responsibilities
• Work effectively with HCS FP&A manager and coordinate with multiple functions, to proactively drive key business initiatives, and to effectively analyze and report the financial impacts on the business
• Contribute to develop estimates, weekly quick call reporting, other operating plans/forecasts/reviews, SII (1-year Plan)
• Take lead on financial data reporting across P&Ls and regions under HCS to ensure planning cycle and reporting requirement deadlines are met timely with high quality
• Drive profitable growth by providing analysis of results and identifying & tracking key metrics while advising the leadership team on risks and opportunities, as well as recommending actions
• Develop and improve financial processes: finance reporting tools, management reporting tools, budgeting and estimating processes.
• Participate in simplification projects that will facilitate and increase capacity for value-added financial analysis
• Assist finance manager for other ad hoc reporting and analysis
Role Summary/Purpose
The HCS Lead FP&A Analyst is responsible for collecting & analyzing financial data and assisting HCS FP&A manager to be partner closely with commercial leaders, integrate and develop processes that meet business needs, manage complex issues, and contribute to the overall business strategy. This position reports to HCS FP&A manager.
Qualifications/Requirements
Required Qualifications:
1. Bachelor degree or above in accounting or finance
2. Clear thinking/problem solving: successfully led projects/process improvements within operations/finance function; able to quickly grasp new ideas
3. Strong analytical skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change
4. Leadership & interpersonal skills. Proactively take lead on projects & effectively communicate with various functions.
5. Strong Excel skills in data analytics
6. Adaptable/Flexible. Be open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations
7. Integrity: accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions and when dealing with others
8. Fluent in Chinese and English
Preferred Qualifications:
1. At least 5 years finance working experience, FP&A experience is preferred
2. Strong ownership of work and willing to deliver results
3. A clear thinker and strong team work spirit
4. FMP graduate or other GE internal program graduate is preferred
