POSITION SUMMARY
1. Develop and realize process automation concepts
2. Enhance the communication ability of equipments to EI/TDA application and SPACE system 　 　 　 　
3. Support end users to perform periodic tasks and address technical issues pertaining to EI/TDA Application
4. Create and distribute technical materials on EI/TDA Application
5. Train business users to enable them to use the develop applications/reporting for productivity improvements
6. Provide 24x7 production support on EI/TDA Application 　 　 　 　 　 　 　 　 　 　
7. Work closely with Production/Process Engineer to resolve any technical EI/TDA related issues 　 　 　 　
8. Provide improvements ideas for EI/TDA related areas 　 　 　 　 　 　 　 　 　 　
MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

1 Review user specification based on user request.
2 Analyze user requirements to determine feasibility of system development.
3 Evaluate user requirements to ensure only value added developments are worked on.
4 Design application to meet end user requirements.
5 Document the design specification.
6 Prepare test cases with the users based on agreed user specification.
7 Configure application to cater for business requirements.
8 Develop application programs based on agreed user specification/design specification.
9 Test application programs to ensure they work as intended and run optimally.
10 Involve in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with the users.
11 Patch application to ensure all known bugs are fixed.
12 Implement application programs after the UAT is buy-off.
13 Complete all documentation required based on the user request.
14 Review application programs to ensure they continue to work as intended and run optimally.
15 Enhance application programs to cater for changes in requirements and system optimization.
16 Manage security to ensure Information Security is maintained.
17 Learn new coding techniques including SOA to develop more efficient and effective systems.
18 Learn innovative manufacturing techniques and apply to manufacturing areas
19 Prepare training materials (e.g. user guides) prior to conducting the user training.
20 Train users on how to use the application.
21 Support the application once it's migrated to productive system.
22 Provide 24x7 production support on developed applications.
23 Work with Equipment Owner to enable the equipement coomunication with EI/CIM Application.
24 Vendor management including issue escalation, follow up and enhancement.
