Principal Accountabilities:

1. Work to Edwards and legislative standards to ensure the safety of people, process, equipment and environment for all field and onsite engineers within the territory.

2. Ensure contractual commitments are completed.

3. Support Field Engineers ensuring appropriate standards of service are provided.

4. Schedule work, allocate & develop appropriate skill level, ensure appropriation of labour and materials required to economically perform the job.

5. Ensures latest SIB (engineering change), product training and safety bulletins are communicated and completed.

6. Interface with customers at all appropriate levels and facilitate product enquiries and technical advice to customer's engineers.

7. Report events and actions to the Customer Support & Service director, China, and KAM Managers, in a manner that enables analysis of information to be carried out in support of improving the understanding of Edwards'sequipment/systems reliability and cost of ownership

8. Manage budget and expenditures, ensures correct allocation of labour and material costs.

9. Set-up and monitor escalation path, skills matrix and call- out roster.

10. Ensure that all operational, technical and reporting requirements are achieved.

11. Ensure minimum local inventory is on hand to provide seamless service support economically.

12. Ensure that all safety and regulatory requirements are fully met and maintained, and perform appropriate safety and equipment training for Edwards and customer personnel.

13. Participate in commercial administration, including writing equipment specifications that will be used to generate customer quotes.

14. Support the Customer Support & Service Manager, China, and Site teams on projects or activities as directed.

15. Ensure local resource is trained to provide adequate service coverage for all products within the territory. Works with sales to determine ahead of time regional training requirement.

• (Occasionally) responsible to purchase within defined scope upon line manager's permission and use company system.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience :

1. HND or degree level in electro/mechanical discipline.

2. Minimum of 5 years direct experience in Semi SDL industrial service environment dealing directly with customers.

3. Minimum 2 years' experience supervising skilled personnel

4. Good PC skills that enable equipment and service management systems to be interrogated and updated, and to produce concise reports.

5. Ability to write work instructions (operation and maintenance) and other procedures. For high risk activities will seek approval by competent person.

6. Broad range of electrical/electronic/mechanical skills
