Major Responsibilities:

• Responsible for vehicle/engine calibration;
• Lead implementation of Ford product development process / quality operating system and ensure the milestone deliverables to be completed on time with quality;
• Work with Ford team and supplier to calibrate powertrain system to meet all requirements including function specification / quality / cost / timing;
• Help team to understand engineering specification and resolve issues.
• Responsible for powertrain calibration, robust design verifications, engineering signoff;
• Participant in Ford global Calibration engineering team discussion to represent APA (Asia Pacific& Africa), and implement design rules for APA.
• Responsible for vehicle/engine system launch in APA region to support Ford global vehicle program.
• Manage Launch Process and timing to insure flawless launch powertrain control system with quality and on time;
• Resolve issues and manage engineering changes during commodity launch;
• Responsible for trouble shooting during launch process and for some in-market products.

Qualification Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree or above in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering preferred;
• Good knowledge on vehicle/engine/transmission system;
• Experience in vehicle/engine/transmission calibration, OBD calibration;
• Familiar with ATI / ETAS / MaCANIC / CAN Analyser calibration tools;
• Familiar with BOSCH / Continental / Denso / Visteon control system;
• Willing to take more responsibility, willing to help others to finish assignments;
• Willing to take long time test trip and relocated work in some case.
