Roles & Responsibilities:

• Management position to lead Manufacturing Ergonomists and Virtual Manufacturing Engineering team.
• Lead delivery of all Manufacturing Ergonomists and Virtual Manufacturing
• Engineering team responsibilities.
• Ability to support Ergonomics and Virtual Manufacturing Engineers with technical and deliverable assistance during peak workload periods.
• Manage ergonomic technical expertise.
• Utilize standard ergonomic assessment tools to coordinate assessments of job risk factors on new and existing workstations and make cost effective recommendations to design/develop solutions.
• Understand national and international governmental or consensus standards in ergonomics and their relationship to process and equipment design.
• Lead Ergonomics team in working with cross functional teams involving product design, equipment design, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, assembly plant engineering teams, and safety to engineer ergonomically sound processes and equipment.
• Lead and deliver all ergonomics assessments of future programs through virtual manufacturing methods and drive identified issues to closure.
• Manage vehicle program status of ergonomics related topics.
• Represent VOME as Virtual Manufacturing leadership for all Ford Asia/Pacific programs.
• Management and delivery of weekly/daily updates Program Virtual Manufacturing workplans.
• Managed Program Virtual Manufacturing funding activities and delivery programs within budget.
• Manage special simulation studies for programs requesting support post Virtual Manufacturing phase for prototype build issues, added content, small program studies.
• Drive Global Virtual Manufacturing alignment.

• Future developmental skills - DPA (Digital Pre-Assembly), Vis-Mockup, C3PNG, Team Center
• Willingness to travel to support launches and special assignments at the assembly plants, as required.

Desired Experience:

• Automotive Engineering experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science (Mechanical) Degree preferred.
