Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage the infrastructure operations (server/storage/backup system/computer room facilities etc.), includes aspects of: system administration, system performance management, incident management, change control management, etc.
• Adherence to Ford policies to meet the service level management for assigned infrastructure.
• Ensures that appropriate security and controls are instituted (e.g., SCRP, ICR, audit follow-up) during the operations.
• Ensures incident resolution and coordinates with others and escalates as necessary.
• Participates in or leads in problem and root cause analysis Plans.
• Leads the execution of infrastructure changes according to rigorous change control procedures
• Participates in or lead projects to support infrastructure implementation/enhancement/upgrade, Ensures appropriate use of Ford project management processes, tools and methodologies.
• Collaborates with global/regional SME to propose, design and implement projects to meet business requirements.
• Responsible for communication to the customer, global/regional support team on a day-to-day basis.
• Provide related technical consultant and support to China JV.
• Responsible for infrastructure lifecycle management, assets management.
• Responsible for vendor management for vendor service planning and operations.

Preferred previous experiences

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Information Technology is preferable
• 3 or more years of background in IT and at least 1 year of system administration experience in server administration, e.g. Windows Servers, Linux, TSM backup, NetApp, etc.

• 1 or more years equivalent experience supporting Microsoft Windows computing platform.

• Experience of working in a Datacenter environment.

• Experience on IT service management.

• Experience on project management.

• Experience working in software / application distribution on windows platform.

• Practice IT asset management, and documentation management skill.

• Good communication skill both verbal and written in English.

• Inter-personal skills to establish good relationship with business area and/or other IT member.

• Proven work history with a multi-national company; Automotive company an asset.
