Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• The High Voltage Battery Testing Engineer will work on high voltage battery testing position to support hybrid electric and battery electric vehicle product development, vehicle launch and lab management;
• Assist in development of plans, strategies, requirements and procedures for battery;
• Lead development of safety operation rule, test procedures and working instructions;
• Lead high voltage battery cell and pack test with safety, record test data correctly, and post test report in time with quality;
• Manage and regularly maintain battery test lab in good condition with safety;
• Participate in and support cross function team to do failure mode analysis for quality improvement;
• Support lab expansion.

Experience and Background Skills Desired:

• Bachelor degree or above in automation, power electronics, electrical & electronics Engineering, calibration, electrochemistry, are preferred;
• Range of 2-10 years engineering experience in electrical testing, high voltage battery design and process, , electrical and electronics Engineering; power supply are preferred
• Familiar with usage of DC/DC power supply, oscilloscope, multi-meters, sensors, data acquisition, etc are preferred;
• Master USABC etc battery testing/characterization technologies;
• Good knowledge of battery technology;
• Familiar with product development process/quality operating system to ensure the milestone deliverables to be completed on time with excellent quality;
• In-depth knowledge in hybrid and /or electric vehicle or component manufacturing/assembly and launch process;
• Good knowledge of vehicle network technology, such as CAN and LIN;
• Good knowledge of Vehicle system modeling and simulation technology, such as Matlab, Labview, Simulink and dSpace and simulation,etc;
• Experience in component /system design verification process and test planning/execution;
• Experience in quality/reliability process including design FMEA, process FMEA, control plan and 8D (or similar problem solving methods);
• Strong lab project management/coordination skills are preferred;
• Good English skills in writing, reading, listening and speaking;
• Willing to trip in domestic and oversea for business purpose;
• Good team work and positive working attitude.
