Calix is seeking a senior level individual for PCB layout and routing design to work from our Nanjing China facility


Responsibilities:

Review and understand component datasheets, and mechanical drawings
Interpret hardware design engineer rules and schematics
Work remotely as a team member with CAD Designers at Cali
Component builds, creation of schematic symbols and PCB footprints
Layout and routing of complex PCB's using best known design practices and manufacturing guidelines
Generate files for fabrication and assembly drawings

Qualifications:

Must Have:

Applicable BS degree in PCB technology or Electrical Engineering
Minimum of 5-7 year experience in High Speed PCB part creation, layout and routing design of high layer count PC boards
Experienced in use of Mentor Graphics or Cadence PCB Design tools
Knowledgeable in PCB Design constraints and Manufacturability processes
Ability to assess project scheduling and high level of motivation and attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and meet critical design schedules
Good communication and problem solving skills
Able to conduct technical discussion in English
Capable with Microsoft Office suite
