职位描述
POSITION OBJECTIVE
? Work with global account team to manage global key accounts in China, to ensure the
full scope of supply for Emerson Process Management is in play with the site and
facilities growth in business throughout the account enterprise.
? Lead the pursuit of MNC projects in China, maximizing Emerson content in single
project.
? Position Emerson Process Management as the supplier of first choice.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
? Develop deep relationships with Operations, Reliability and Maintenance as well as
authorizers and influencers at the site such that these people feel privileged to meet you and other Emerson employees.
? Keep the customer informed of new capabilities and road maps for introduction of these and push for opportunities to communicate these plans (e.g. wireless, service).
? Help the customer see approaches that are tailored to the customer's value drivers and recognize needs they did not realise they had (Vision Casting); do so while exposing the customer to Emerson centric solutions which can enable their success in pursuit of these ventures.
? Consistently and dependably follow through on commitments and deadlines.? Prepare Site Account Plan, aim at information sharing within the Account Team and across the organization borders. Type of information shared:
o Issues and challenges relevant to the customer site.
o Strategies of significance to the customer enterprise.
o Performance to Global Strategic Account Program metrics.
o Information about customer buying behaviour, pricing history and spending with
Emerson Process Management.
o Area of opportunity within the account.
o Vendor status for the Emerson Process Management Platform.
? Coordinate key activities across Business Units and other Emerson employees who call on the site.
? Proactively taking the lead in assigned MNC account projects pursuits, developing
related project pursuit strategies,working with team Emerson to maximise our success.
? Contribute pricing recommendation for projects and agreements based on factual
observations of pricing history in the accounts and sites.
? Pursue and maintain pricing agreement with Accounts.
? Interface with other Emerson Process organizations to help resolve problems to ensure overall customer satisfaction.
SCOPE
? Close coordination with other Business Units on MNC project pursuit and account
management.
? Interaction with senior Emerson Process Management, Global Account Team and sales
team.
? Substantial interaction with customers at all levels.
EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE
? Degree or Diploma in an Engineering Discipline, Chemical Engineering or Automation
Engineering is preferred,
? Minimum 5 years experience preferably in the process industries with sound knowledge in project management or automation control or instrumentation.
? Experiences in sales or account management or project management is preferred
? Strong communication skill, interpersonal savvy, a good listener, and ability to work as a team.
? Mature personality and innovative. Ability to plan, prioritize and organize team actions.
? Strong command in both spoken and written English
